Autism and Other Conditions Aberdeen – Parent Support Group
We know that provision for families with children with additional needs can vary. Our children are very unique, and it can be difficult when other people don’t understand them. Parents who have children with additional needs often feel isolated. We hope that in setting up Autism and Other Conditions Aberdeen we can build a supportive environment for parents to meet, listen and talk through concerns or issues and of course eat cake.
Whatever your concerns, whether you have a diagnosis, or are in the process of getting a diagnosis or just have concerns about your child you are welcome. Peer support can be an invaluable resource and lifeline.
We hope you can join us for an initial meeting on the 12th June 10.00am -11.30am at Rosemount Community Centre, Belgrave Terrace, Aberdeen, AB25 2NS to plan our way forward. We will look at different venues across the city for future meetings. If you are interested in coming along please let us know.
