Knit a Square Fundraiser

Have you been involved in our Knit a Square charity challenge? Would you like to come and see all the lovely squares, hats and jumpers that have been donated by all our excellent knitters?

Come along and support our fundraising event and help us to raise the money we need for postage and packing.

Primary 7 are hosting a coffee morning for parents, carers and friends of the school on Friday 4th May from 9.30-11 am in the Community Lounge at the school. Come along and view the knitting, be served by evacuees, listen to the soothing sound of  World War 2 music played on a real live record player, enjoy a rationing cake and have a blether for a donation of £2.

There will also be some raffles and activities for you to take part in.

From 11-12.15 the pupils in P1-7 will be invited to come and enjoy a biscuit and juice and view the knitting for a small charge of 30p.

We thank you for your support.

Some pupils have started knitting teddy bears for the South african children. If you are interested in knitting one we have patterns available at the front of the school or find it here. We also have lots of wool that has been donated if you are running short. Feel free to pop in and get some from the P7 class.

Thanks again for your fantastic support.
